The Pepperoni Pizza Project: Red Edition : where the sauce is always red
NEW YORK - CuisineWire -- Fridge Art Fair is pleased to announce "The Pepperoni Pizza Project: Red Edition" where the sauce is always red. The Fridge returns to the fabled and critically acclaimed Gallery OneTwentyEight at 128 Rivington Street and will collaborate with the nearby 2B&2C at 9B9 Artspace, located 9 Avenue B.
We are delighted that Matt Sullivan, esteemed musician and director of 2B&2C, will be joining the Fridge creative team. Among the highlights of our 9th New York City edition, The Pepperoni Pizza Project:Red Edition, will be a selection of artworks by Matt's longtime collaborative partner and husband, the late ecosystem-painter, sculptor, and teacher, Ken Cro-Ken (1957-2020).
The original vision of Founder Eric Ginsburg was that of a fair that is both Art and Soul. The Fridge may have met its most fitting challenge as the world continues to step out of the pandemic's shadow. It is a time of renewed passion for the arts, and the color Red best represents healing and ardor.

Submissions to the Fridge will be on an ongoing basis. Details will be posted on the ""Apply"" page of our website, https://www.fridgeartfair.com/apply
As a 501c3 not-for-profit, we accept tax deductible donations from the public. We also seek sponsors and strategic partners who can provide financial, material (including perhaps some pizza for our visitors!) and technical support to produce Fridge.
Since its inception in May 2013, Fridge Art Fair has presented concurrent with Frieze (yes, the name is a play on that week in New York City) and during Art Basel week in Miami. We have lived up to our tagline, "Can you fit into the Fridge?" by accepting numerous and diverse exhibitors in spaces from tiny to huge that were either affordable or donated to us.
The opening reception to "The Pepperoni Pizza Project: Red Edition" will take place concurrently at both locations on May 17th and will continue through Sunday, May 21st.
