OVAL, U.K. - CuisineWire -- A relatively new name in the food and drink industry, Jacked Foods is a company that provides dried fruit snacks, both in store and online. Since its inception in June 2018, Jacked Foods has developed a wide range of dried fruit snacks that are now available to purchase in stores such as Ocado, Holland & Barrett and John Lewis.
Jacked Foods initially started out by bringing dried jackfruit snacks to market and has since expanded to bring other dried fruit offerings, such as banana, pineapple and mango. The first snack to be developed and brought to market was their jackfruit chunks. Today, the company has a variety of different dried fruits and flavour combinations on shelves and available to buy online, through their website and Amazon.
Jacked Foods all started when its three owners met whilst volunteering in Uganda. During the trip, the owners tried jackfruit for the first time and immediately saw an opportunity to bring the taste to people back home in the UK. Their love for the large fruit and dried fruit in general grew from that moment and they are now proud to share these culinary delights with a mass market.

Not only is Jacked Foods becoming known amongst consumers for its delicious dried fruit snacks, but for its commitment to ethical sourcing and eco-friendly practices. The ingredients that go into Jacked Foods' products are all ethically sourced from countries in East Africa, with the company making it a priority to see that suppliers benefit equally from their involvement.
Jacked Foods - https://www.jackedfoods.co.uk - is also partnered with Trees For The Future, an initiative that was started back in 1989 to help fight the devastating effects of deforestation in areas such as East Africa. For every pouch of dried or dehydrated fruit that is sold by Jacked Foods, a tree is planted through the Trees For The Future initiative. It is this commitment to looking after the environment and those that help in the supply chain that sets Jacked Foods apart as a dried fruit provider.
