WHITESBURG, Ga. - CuisineWire -- Paradise Atlanta Westside (PAW) Enrichment Program in Grove Park, Georgia received a fresh new look to their tired exterior landscape. There is something magical about creating a beautiful, welcoming exterior that helps unite people and place.

About the Project

Gibson Landscape laid 10 pallets of NG Turf's SunBelt sod, a cross between Texas bluegrass and Kentucky bluegrass, at PAWKids in Grove Park, Georgia.

Because SunBelt is a cool season grass, it will maintain its rich green color year round, perfect for this year round neighborhood enrichment ministry.

About the Grass

SunBelt is an innovative grass variety developed through a partnership between NG Turf and Texas A&M University, currently available in limited supply. The hybrid offers the benefits of cold hardiness and year round green of a cool season grass, while also providing superior drought and wear tolerance compared to other cool season grasses.

Whereas cool season grasses like tall fescue require reseeding to rebound after damage or drought, SunBelt has rhizomes, which are lateral roots that can send up new shoots, allowing the grass to regenerate—no overseeding required.
