Carol Theater – The Heart of Hispanic Theater in Houston – launches a transformative acting and personal growth workshop, presented by Teatro Insight.
HOUSTON - CuisineWire -- Houston, TX – Starting Monday, April 28, Carol Theater will open its doors to an extraordinary artistic and personal development experience with the launch of the TEXAS Theater Workshop, a 10-session program presented by the acclaimed theater education group Teatro Insight.
Open to adults and youth alike, this workshop goes beyond traditional acting training. Participants will engage in a dynamic journey of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and creative exploration, while learning the fundamental tools of dramatic expression. The workshop combines powerful methodologies that integrate acting with coaching, storytelling, and neurolinguistic programming.

The TEXAS Theater Workshop is part of the educational programming at Carol Theater, a cultural initiative of the Hispanic Alliance for Performing and Audiovisual Arts (HAPAA). Carol Theater serves as a creative sanctuary for the Latino community in Houston, offering access to high-quality performing arts and professional training.
This immersive acting workshop is ideal for beginners as well as experienced individuals seeking to expand their expressive, scenic, and communicative skills. The sessions explore character creation, improvisation, teamwork, and emotional exploration through body and voice, in a safe and collaborative environment.
Teatro Insight, based in Florida and internationally recognized, blends theatrical pedagogy with techniques like Storylearning, Superlearning, and Emotional Intelligence, ensuring a powerful, life-enhancing experience for all participants.
