Delicatessen features the entrance to Powder Room, a sophisticated cocktail and curated music lounge
AUSTIN, Texas - CuisineWire -- Lobos Hospitality (https://www.loboshospitality.com/) is excited to announce that Manny's, a community-driven delicatessen and hotspot in downtown Austin, will be opening its doors to the public on Friday, April 26, 2024.
Manny's is best described as a "Garden Oasis" located in a bustling urban area that serves sandwiches, bowls, smoothies, and salads using farm-fresh ingredients. It offers a relaxing and ambient environment adorned with full-bleed plants and art deco prints while serving as a great lunch and happy hour locale.
Open Sunday-Thursday 11:00 a.m. to midnight and Friday-Saturday 11 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., the deli will offer both carryout and dine-in options, including indoor seating and an outdoor patio.
The menu draws from a variety of cultures and ethnic cuisines to offer guests an eclectic list of fresh, healthy dining options for lunch and dinner including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options including a variety of artisanal salads, smoothies and a carefully curated list of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Manny's also includes the backroom entrance to Powder Room, a hidden lounge offering an intimate, upscale social space where guests can sip on vintage and original craft cocktails while enjoying live music and artistic performances. Bowden's design of Powder Room features soft, mysterious lighting and retro decor meant to transport patrons to another time and place. It exudes an energy that illuminates Manny's vibrant sandwich shop while also offering a space in Powder Room that intrigues guests with its surprises while representing a story of a lively community hotspot with a hidden back room experience. Unique to Powder Room, tableside mixology allows guests to personalize their drinking experience while enjoying the artistry behind sophisticated cocktails.
"Bartending right at tableside where guests can watch their server build a personalized cocktail offers an elevated experience unique to Powder Room," Head MIxologist Drew Record said. "We want to help make memories for guests they would be hard-pressed to find elsewhere."
In advance of the Friday, April 26 opening, both Manny's and Powder Room will launch a soft opening, open to the public, with reduced seating from April 15 - April 24. Limited reservations for Powder Room are now available on OpenTable (https://www.opentable.com/r/powder-room-austin-1?corrid=2acb5cab-188f-4f00-9cf5-3a108f8b08a7&p=2&sd=2024-03-25T19%3A00%3A00). Manny's will remain a walk-in only establishment as a cornerstone eatery in the community where people come for great sandwiches and a welcoming environment. Both will offer a 2 hour, $5 + tax flat fee validated parking option across the street at the Lavaca Plaza Garage, located at 504 Lavaca Street.
