OKLAHOMA CITY - CuisineWire -- Do you know an educator or student using the power of baking to make a difference? The Home Baking Association is now accepting applications for two prestigious awards that celebrate the transformative impact of baking in communities across the country. The Educator Award and the Bake to Give: Maddie Kruse Youth Award honor those who share their passion for baking to inspire others and uplift their communities.
Educator Award
For over two decades, the Home Baking Association has recognized educators who bring the educational benefits of baking into classrooms and community programs. The Educator Award is open to family and consumer sciences (FCS) educators, cooperative extension program leaders, homeschool educators, and youth organization leaders, including FCCLA, 4-H, Boys and Girls Clubs, Camp Fire USA, and other community programs.

Submissions should highlight how baking fosters learning, creativity, and connection. Educators should include photos, videos, social media posts, student engagement examples, and any state or national standards the lessons meet. Full entry guidelines can be found at HomeBaking.org/Educator-Award (https://www.homebaking.org/educator-award/). Submission deadline is May 1st, 2025.
Bake to Give: Maddie Kruse Youth Award
